What is B Corp?
B Corp is a certification for businesses that meet high standards in areas like governance, environment, workers, and transparency. It’s issued by a nonprofit called B Lab, based on a detailed assessment and review process. The evaluation covers how a company operates, treats people, and measures impact. Companies must also make a legal change to their structure to consider people andthe planet in business decisions alongside profit.
Why We Joined?
Our business is built around climate action. We work with companies to integrate clean energy and carbon solutions into complex operations across regions, supply chains, and organizational structures. Becoming B Corp certified was a way to make our structure match our focus. We wanted to follow a recognized framework, be transparent about our operations, and hold ourselves legally accountable for how we work. We’re one of 30+ B Corps in Korea. For us, it’s one more way to stay aligned with how we want to build.
